capturing your character to last forever
A photographic portrait is understood to be a good quality image that
not only captures a person's physical likeness on film, but also
something of the person's character, generally in a manner that is
attractive and pleasing to the subject.
Just
about anyone who can aim a camera can make a portrait, which raises the
question 'Why get someone to take a photograph when I can do it myself?'
There are a couple of elements why some people take consistently better quality portrait photos than others.
The quality of equipment , a controlled background and lighting , and most important, the skill and experience of the photographer.
We all reveal and hide
our feelings and attitudes differently. Building a rapport with the
subject is important because it makes the subject more at ease in your presence, and
therefore more relaxed and natural-looking for the lens.
Portraits can either be done in our studio or on location depending on what style you're going for. If you have a place in mind we'd be happy to scope it out with you before a shoot. If you don't , we know a ton of cool places for you to choose.
That's what we're here for!
